This role is key to optimizing production, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesFollow and promote all safety standards; report any concerns promptlySet up molds and machines per established processes to ensure quality and efficiencyPerform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtimeSupport mold changes, machine operation, and production needs as requiredMaintain clean, organized work areas in line with 5S standardsAdjust machine settings to resolve defects while maintaining cycle timeAssist with material handling and training of new team membersSet up and fine-tune robotic part-handling systemsCollaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to resolve production issuesTroubleshoot and optimize molding processes using data-driven adjustmentsDevelop and refine processes to meet performance targets (KPIs)Monitor schedules and proactively address production challengesSupport team development and provide guidance to junior staffCommunicate effectively with leadership and engineering to drive improvementsRequirementsGood Communication SkillsThe ability to Speak, Read and Write in EnglishProcessing experience with a trouble shooting background in Plastics.The ability to train and be trained to continue Growth in FieldComputer literacyAbility to lift 50 LBSAbility to Stand for Long periods of time.Basic MathAbility to work night shift, overtime and weekends as needed.Preferred:RJG Decoupled Molding Training (Sys 1, Master Molder 1)Basic Blueprint readingWhite Belt and Yellow Belt TrainingBiomerics offers the following benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation Days, Paid Holidays, and 401k.Please, no recruitment agency calls or emails (we are not using recruitment services for this or any other role posted).
