Job description
Lubbock County is seeking a Detention Officer to maintain security, care, and control of inmates at the Lubbock County Detention Center, ensuring compliance with local policy and Texas minimum jail standards.
The role includes admitting and releasing inmates, performing fingerprints, searches, and medical verifications, coordinating with professionals, and maintaining daily logs and records. A valid Texas driver’s license and a Basic Jailer’s License (TCOLE) are required.
