Position Title Inpatient General Psychiatrist
Location Jacksonville, FL

Position Overview
Employment Type: Hospital Employed
Schedule / Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday schedule onsite, day hours
Call: 14 shared call
Patient Volume: 18 daily caseload expectation with the ability to earn extra with productivity bonus
Practice Setting: Inpatient adult daily caseload
Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists
EMR / Technology: Cerner
Growth opportunity: ECT opportunity as well if interested. Training can be offered.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications
Education M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry
Training Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
Licensure Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
