Job description
This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in inpatient clinical pharmacy services. The role is based in a hospital setting located in Cooperstown, NY. It offers a contract-to-hire structure, providing an initial contract period with potential for permanent placement.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy.
Monitor patient medication regimens for efficacy and safety.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist with experience in inpatient clinical pharmacy.
Strong knowledge of drug therapies, interactions, and patient care protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
