Job description
A healthcare facility in Greenville, SC, is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide expert clinical pharmacy services in a hospital inpatient setting. This contract role calls for a dedicated professional able to manage medication therapies, ensure safe and effective drug use, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
Monitor patient drug therapies and adjust treatments as necessary
Provide clinical recommendations to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Educate patients and staff on medication use and potential side effects
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with experience in clinical pharmacy settings, particularly hospital inpatient care
