Clinical Pharmacist Contact to Hire!
An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist with inpatient experience to support a large health-system in St Louis, MO. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmacy services. The position is a 3-6-month contract, requiring candidates to commit for the full duration of contract.
Location: St. Louis, MO
Setting: Inpatient
Schedule: Mixed days/evenings/weekend rotation
System: EPIC/Meditech/Cerner
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract; Permanent hire if a good match
Candidate Requirements: Local preferred; travelers may be considered
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee intravenous (IV) admixtures in compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient-centered pharmaceutical care
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements
Utilize EPIC system for accurate and efficient documentation and medication order processing
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active Ohio Pharmacist license is mandatory
Minimum of 1 year hospital experience, including sterile compounding or IV room operations
Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy procedures and standards
Proficiency in using EPIC/Meditech/Cerner electronic health records systems
Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills
