Job description
LocumTenens.com is seeking an MD psychiatrist for an inpatient behavioral health facility in Asheville, NC. The role involves adult psychiatric evaluations and medication management in inpatient and potential ED/telepsychiatry, with a 7 on/7 off schedule, 10-hour day shifts, and call coverage part of the week.
Caseload is about 18 patients, supported by a multidisciplinary team, with prescriptive authority required and board certification mandated.
