Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist Needed in New York
Your compensation offer will be calculated according to your experience, qualifications, and the complexity of the role. Shift length, call, and overtime may positively impact compensation. Please reach out to your consultant for more information.
Permanent position in Albany, New York.
Quick facts:
Monday – Friday schedule with 1:6 weekend rotation
1:7 call schedule shared among psychiatrists
Dedicated 20-bed Gero-Psychiatry inpatient unit
Patient census of 13 – 15 patients
Supported by full-time Clinical Coordinator and Social Worker with geriatric-psychiatry training
Join a team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and case managers
Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred but not required
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry required; new graduates encouraged to apply
