Job description
UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit. The role involves evaluating and managing acutely ill hematology/oncology patients from admission through discharge, with prior specialty experience and chemotherapy/ immunotherapy knowledge.
Qualified candidates hold an acute care NP or PA-C with Alabama licensure; BLS is required and ACLS/PALS may be needed. The position requires weekend rotation and 6 shifts per quarter.
