Job description
Role: An Advanced Practitioner specializing in Palliative Medicine, supporting inpatient care within a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic test results; prescribe and adjust medications and therapies.
Perform procedures within the scope of nurse practitioner licensure.
Collaborate with physicians, primary care providers, and staff via communication channels.
Provide patient advocacy through safe, ethical care, health education, and clear communication.
Follow policies and guidelines to meet clinical goals and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Ability to perform procedures within scope of practice.
Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.
