Job description
We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Minimum Requirements:
Must have TN State License to Apply
2 Years Hospital Inpatient experience required
Sterile compounding experience preferred
Antimicrobial stewardship and Med Rec experience preferred
Assignment Details:
Rotating day and evening schedule
Every other weekend required
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, allergies, interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic effectiveness.
Provide clinical recommendations regarding medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and adjustments
Prepare, verify, and oversee sterile and non-sterile medication compounding as applicable.
Ensure compliance with controlled-substance regulations, medication storage requirements, and hospital pharmacy policies.
