Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide PRN support in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you’ll assist with individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities include implementing therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility activities, patient and family education, and accurate documentation. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, uphold safety and infection control standards, and support a mission-driven, patient-centered care environment.
