Job description
Encompass Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for the day shift to support patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic conditions. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will carry out treatment plans, lead therapeutic exercises, and use modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function. You will document patient progress, assist with care planning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team. This role requires strong clinical skills, clear communication, compassion, and a commitment to safety, quality outcomes, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
