Job description
Encompass Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support inpatient rehabilitation patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex illnesses. Working closely with physical therapists and an interdisciplinary team, you will implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility, and patient education. You’ll document progress, ensure safety and proper use of equipment, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to help patients regain independence in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment.
