Job description
Encompass Health in Vero Beach is seeking an Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other serious illnesses. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises and mobility training, document patient progress, and help educate patients and families on home programs. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary rehab team, ensure safety and adherence to care protocols, and contribute to a patient-centered, mission-driven environment focused on maximizing functional independence.
