Job description
Encompass Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you’ll deliver hands-on therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist, following individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and independence after stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic procedures, and other serious conditions. You will lead therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, functional mobility activities, and patient/family education while accurately documenting progress. You’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment that supports professional growth and clinical excellence.
