Job description
An established hospital in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a knowledgeable inpatient overnight pharmacist to provide critical pharmacy services. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your inpatient pharmacy skills in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting patient care across multiple campuses. Licensed pharmacists or those with pending New Mexico licenses expected to be issued within 10 days are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient pharmacy services during the overnight shift, ensuring accurate dispensing and clinical review of medications
Support pharmacy operations at both Women's and Westside hospital campuses as needed
Utilize EMR system EPIC to document and review medication orders and patient information
Collaborate with medical staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes and ensure safe medication use
Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards throughout all pharmacy activities
Schedule: 7 on/7 off schedule
Overnight shift: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience required
Montana Pharmacist license preferred; New Mexico license required or license pending with issuance expected within 10 days

This is a 13-week contract position starting on September 28th with opportunities to demonstrate your skills in a multidisciplinary hospital setting.
