Job description
We're seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a highly respected medical center in Baton Rouge, LA.
Details:
Start: ASAP
Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Varied Shifts: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 12:30 PM-9:00 PM
Rotating Weekends/On-Call
Duration: Minimum 90 days, with potential for extension or temp-to-perm
System: EPIC
Responsibilities: Perform inpatient pharmacy operations and medication order entry
Prepare and complete IV medications
Utilize Pyxis and pharmacy inventory systems
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and hospital staff
Participate in rotating weekend and on-call coverage
Requirements: Louisiana pharmacist license in good standing
Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Epic experience preferred, but willing to train
Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call coverage
