Inserter Operator 2 - Days - (BCS)Full-timeMarine MOS: 2161:MachinistArmy MOS: 44E:MachinistDepartment: Production & ManufacturingShift: 12 Hr Day Shift-Fix BackJob DescriptionOperate high speed machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelopsSet up and adjust the machine to operate efficientlyOversee and make adjustments as necessaryQualificationsRequires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipmentAbility to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipmentTypically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparentMust have good eye-hand coordinationStrong mechanical aptitude requiredAbility to communicate in English -read, write, understandLifting up to 50 lbs, 4-6 hoursWalking/standing, 6-7 hoursBending/stooping, 2-3 hoursAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.68 to $25.75 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
