Installation Manager Fairfield, NJNew Jersey, NJ, US At Stone Systems ( we are looking for an Installation Manager for our Fabrication Shop located in Fairfield, NJ who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of. As an Installation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer order is accurately measured and installed. This position must make sure product requirements are properly translated to production correctly and on time, scheduling and overseeing the installation of our products. Your daily tasks on this position would include supervising the tasks of the Install Supervisors, our contract Measurers and Installers and guarantees that the capacity matches production to ensure quality and meet customer deadlines.Responsibilities:Be responsible for all safety-related duties regarding both measuring and installationLead subcontracted teams in order to complete given project by established deadlinesManage Install Supervisors and their specific segment to ensure quality and that deadlines are metTrain and manage the certification process of our contractorsCoordinate with production and customer service to plan and schedule install and measure crew per projectInspect on an intermittent basis the output of both installs and measure crewsSite walk-through and planning for installation processInstruct crews on proper use of materials and qualityReview integration documents to ensure documentation is accurateEnsure each subcontractor is certified and trained on our process and standardsResolve customer issues and problems encountered by installation and measurePerform minor job repairs when neededCollaborate and manage workflow with Fabrication LeadsPerform On-sight installation supervision/managementAct as a backup when needed to both measure and installation projectsAudit remakes attributed to both installation and measure errorsCommunicate daily with clients and vendors regarding measure/installation processSchedule internal and external project team meetings - as neededBe responsible for ensuring Health and Safety procedures and safeguards are enforced for both subcontracted groupsRoles and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs; additional duties may be assigned without prior notice or consent.What you need to succeed:Experience Required: 2+ years of relevant work experience as an Installer Manager Desired: 1+ year(s) of work experience in the stone industry Education Required: High School Diploma/GED Knowledge Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Skills Required: Capability to multitask and work in an extremely fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Capability to use power tools effectively Capability to lift and carry up to 75lbs. This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or uncomfortable.Stone Systems ( is the largest network of commonly owned stone fabrication shops in North America. In addition to having the largest production capacity of any manufacturer of quartz and other surfacing products, Cosentino also has a worldwide distribution network.The salary range for this position is between $75,000-$85,000 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability and Basic Life and Supplemental Insurance. You will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the month. Paid time off: Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company's policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
