Instrument Technician – Sterile ProcessingImmediate need for a talented Instrument Technician – Sterile Processing. This is a 13+ Weeks Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta GA (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:As an Instrument Technician – Sterile Processing, you will be responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.This is a travel-only position, requiring you to work overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday.Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.Prepare instrument trays and surgical supplies according to department standards.Verify instrument functionality and completeness before sterilization.Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and safety protocols.Assist with maintaining accurate instrument tracking and documentation.Support the OR and other procedural areas with timely instrument availability.Identify damaged or malfunctioning instruments and follow appropriate repair/replacement procedures.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing/Instrument Technician experience.Comfortable working overnight shifts in a hospital environment.Previous travel experience required.Hospital sterile processing experience strongly preferred.CRCST, CSPDT, or CASSPT certification preferred.Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
