Instrument Technician - Veteran Wanted in Gainesville, FLWe are currently seeking a motivated veteran with instrument technician experience to join our team as an Instrument Technician in Gainesville, FL. As an Instrument Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instruments and control systems within our facility. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of our equipment and processes.Position: Instrument TechnicianLocation: Gainesville, FLResponsibilities:Install, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of instruments and control systems, including but not limited to pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, level transmitters, control valves, and analytical instruments.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and control systems, identifying and implementing effective solutions.Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on instruments and control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Perform instrument loop checks, calibration, and validation according to established procedures and standards.Collaborate with the maintenance team and operations personnel to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.Document and maintain accurate records of instrument maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.Keep updated on new technologies and industry trends in instrument and control systems, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Provide guidance and training to junior technicians or apprentices, as required.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to instrumentation and control systems.Requirements:Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply, bringing their valuable skills and dedication to the role.High School diploma or equivalent.
