Job description
Westlake is seeking an instrumentation engineer to design and maintain safety-critical systems in our Geismar, Louisiana plant. You will perform SIS/SIF calculations, develop validation plans per IEC 61511, and coordinate PMs in SAP, guiding DCS analysts and I/E technicians.
You will also coach stakeholders on IEC-61511 standards, participate in PHA/LOPA/RCA, inspect instrumentation, and ensure compliance with Westlake specs. Travel and vehicle use may be required.
