Sales & Estimating Representative – East Kansas (Residential & Commercial Construction)Location: East Kansas Region | Schedule: Full-Time | Reports to: PresidentWe're looking for a motivated Sales & Estimating Representative with a solid background in construction estimating, particularly in residential and commercial new builds across Eastern Kansas. This role plays a key part in both inside and outside sales, focusing on growing and maintaining relationships in the new construction and retail markets while ensuring accurate takeoffs and project proposals.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Development: Actively generate and manage leads across new construction (residential and commercial) and retail markets in the Eastern Kansas region.Estimating & Takeoffs: Conduct jobsite measurements and generate timely, accurate bids and material takeoffs based on blueprints and specs.Project Coordination: Work closely with sales, operations, and management teams to schedule and coordinate projects and ensure seamless execution.Blueprint Reading: Analyze architectural plans and select appropriate insulation materials based on project requirements.Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service and support, maintaining strong customer relationships and encouraging repeat business.Documentation: Provide administrative staff with accurate cut sheets and paperwork for timely job delivery and installation.QualificationsExperience in construction estimating (residential or commercial): 2+ years preferredFamiliarity with builders, contractors, and construction trends on the East side of KansasComfortable with both fieldwork (jobsite measurements) and office tasks (proposals, bids, documentation)Strong knowledge of insulation products and general construction methodsExcellent communication, organization, and customer service skillsTechnologically proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with blueprint-reading or estimating software is a strong plusSelf-motivated, deadline-driven, and detail-orientedAssociate Degree or relevant industry experience preferredBPI Certification, RESNET Qualification, or similar building science background is a plusCompensation & BenefitsJob Type: Full-Time (Base + Commission)Typical Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPaid Training: YesWork Location: One central location; local travel for site visits as neededBenefits include:Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceRetirement Plan
