Insurance Administrative AssistantGeorge J. Igel & Co., Inc.Reports to: Insurance AssociateFLSA Status: Non-ExemptHours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., unless otherwise dictated. (One (1) Hour Lunch)Job Location: 3500 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus OH 43207; This position is primarily in-person.General Overview: Under direct supervision, assists the assigned department in all areas as needed. This person should consistently demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership.Responsibilities:Provides administrative support to the Safety department's insurance function, including data entry, document review and preparation, and filingHandles incoming emails and correspondence related to insurance inquiriesAssists in maintaining and updating company, employee, customer, and subcontractor commercial and auto insurance complianceCommunicates with internal and external customers to obtain or provide necessary documentation and informationAssists with annual business insurance renewalReviews documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulationsAssists with insurance program enrollment and complianceSupports insurance associate with special projects and audits as neededKnows and adheres to all Company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedThis list is non-exhaustive. Job responsibilities may vary based on operational needs and the instructions of the employee's supervisor.Qualifications:Two (2) or more years of administrative or office support experiencePrior experience in insurance or financial services is preferredMust successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. (George J.
