Insurance Defense Associate AttorneyJoin our dynamic legal team as an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney and take your career to the next level with a growing firm dedicated to your professional success. In this client-focused role, you'll collaborate with experienced litigators and represent respected insurance carriers and their insureds in a variety of civil litigation matters.Job DutiesManage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, pretrial motions, and trial preparation under the supervision of senior attorneysRepresent clients in court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution forumsDraft motions, briefs, discovery responses, and settlement agreements related to insurance claims and defensesAttend and defend depositions, hearings, and mediationsAnalyze case files and insurance policies to develop effective legal strategiesCommunicate regularly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel to report case status and negotiate potential resolutionsConduct legal research to support case positions and ensure compliance with state and federal lawsMaintain accurate and timely case records consistent with firm and client requirementsRequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmitted and in good standing with the State Bar1-3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on insurance defense, general liability, or civil litigation preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient legal research, analysis, and drafting skillsOrganized and detail oriented; adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to delivering high-quality, ethical legal representation to clientsExperience with case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite requiredBenefits of an Insurance Defense Law CareerThrive in a respected firm committed to professional growth, mentorship, and career developmentWork directly with supportive partners and senior attorneys who value collaborationCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageExposure to a diverse range of insurance litigation mattersHybrid and remote work options available, supporting work-life balanceOpportunities to develop litigation skills and advance within the firmWe are a well-established firm recognized for delivering high-quality insurance defense and civil litigation services to a diverse client base.
