Now Hiring: Insurance Plan SpecialistWe're currently seeking an experienced Insurance Plan Specialist to support our continued growth and help us maintain excellence in service and operations. We have openings to sit in our Angier or Durham Miami offices.As an Insurance Plan Specialist, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding revenue, ensuring insurance information is accurate and up to date, and supporting seamless treatment planning for our patients. You'll help reduce outstanding A/R and ensure insurance plans are correctly created, maintained, and linked to appropriate fee schedules.Key Responsibilities:Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Tasks include (but are not limited to):Review practice schedules for upcoming patient appointmentsContact insurance providers via phone and web portals for verification and eligibilityCreate and maintain insurance plans in Denticon: Enter group numbers, employer info, maxes, and deductiblesRecord exceptions such as non-duplication, waiting periods, and clausesInput benefit details, including frequencies and age limitationsAttach correct fee schedules and update patient profiles accordinglyMonitor for and prevent plan duplicationSupport treatment plan accuracy through updated insurance dataAssist with additional administrative duties as neededWhat You Bring:Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and analytical skillsSolid knowledge of dental insurance billing, A/R, and fee schedulesEffective problem-solving skills, especially with denied claimsProfessional, team-oriented, and dependableComfortable with computers and dental management softwareHigh School Diploma or GED required1–2 years of experience in a dental office or dental insurance billing environment (required)Ability to lift up 15- 20Please note: you will be required to travel to our Durham Miami office for initial trainingWhy You'll Love Working Here:Competitive pay!Comprehensive Insurance Coverage (after 90 days!) – Health, Vision, Dental, Life, Disability, FSA & more!401(k) Employer Contribution Plan (after 90 days!)Quarterly Performance Bonus Opportunities!Employee Assistance Program!Uniform Allowance!Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays!Fridays off at 2 PM!Volunteer opportunities with our Smile Squad to earn awesome prizes!Fun team events, giveaways & social campaigns year-round!Birthday and Work Anniversary surprises sent directly from our owners!Employee discounts at major retailers!and so much more!
