You'll be:Familiarizing yourself with Auto and Home insurance carriers and underwriting guidelinesWriting business in Home and Auto insurance lines; preparing quote sheets for Commercial linesProviding professional and courteous customer service by phone and in personHandling quotes, endorsements, and payments for Home, Auto, Boat, Motorcycle insurance policiesManaging receipts on insurance and rental payments, and making daily bank depositsLogging every call, payment, transaction, and document into a data management systemComparing premiums for agency-billed and direct-billed clients and requoting as neededAssisting with rental payments and applications for prospective tenantsPerforming secretarial duties, managing messages and tasks, and supporting office managementManaging affairs in the absence of management and assisting with incidentals as neededThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have prior experience or strong interest in insurance policy administration (Home, Auto, Commercial lines)Possess excellent phone and people skills with a professional and kind demeanorAre detail-oriented and adept at managing data and documentation accuratelyHave basic knowledge of office administration and are comfortable with multi-taskingAre willing to grow into prospecting and lead generation once licensedCan work full-time hours, Monday through Friday (9am-5pm)Are looking for a workplace offering paid holidays, vacation time, and sick leaveOnce you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
