Intake CoordinatorInterim HealthCare is looking for an Intake Coordinator. We are a health care company that has been in business locally for 30 years and is still growing strong! This is a key role in our organization, and we are looking for someone who can make a great first impression and can follow up with excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity to join a home health team of a long-standing, stable and reputable company. Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):Acts as a contact telephone liaison person interfacing with referral sources, outside agencies, health professionals and field staff.Receives and coordinates all incoming calls, providing patients/clients and referral sources with basic information to assist in accessing appropriate servicesCommunicates with patient/client and family regarding arrangements for the initiation of care/services.Completes intake screening including obtaining, documenting, and analyzing all required information.Receives and logs referrals. Prepares reports and responses to inquiries. Provides telephonic contact and system data entry for customers seeking care/services.Collects and enters customer information into the management information system.Participates in on-call rotation, including 1 weekend per month.Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.Job RequirementsPrevious home care / health care / medical office experience preferred including experience and knowledge of insurance authorizations, admissions, or intake processes.Experience interfacing with referral sources, outside agencies, health professionals, and field staff.Knowledge of medical terminology.Strong organizations skills: ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment and focus on details.Excellent customer service, phone, computer, and data entry skills.Computer proficiency to include current company software programs.Ability to develop strong working relationships and works well with a team.Pass a background check and a drug test (we are required to test for THC)BenefitsCompetitive salary and weekly pay with direct deposit availableHealth, Dental and Vision plans availableExceptional PTO program and paid HolidaysAccess to company supervisors for supportDisability plan availableDiscounted courses thru Colorado Christian University and Rasmussen UniversityEmployee recognition and growth programsLocally owned and operated with company longevity and stabilityRetirement option availableUnlimited access to over 350 online topic trainingsCompany OverviewInterim HealthCare is America's leading provider of home care and healthcare staffing.
