Job description
We are seeking a technically skilled and solutions-oriented Integration & Automation Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize the systems that support our websites, CRM platforms, marketing operations, lead-generation processes, and internal business workflows.
We are looking for someone who can do more than simply follow instructions. The successful candidate will take ownership of technical challenges, identify opportunities to improve existing processes, recommend effective solutions, and help build reliable, scalable systems that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Web Development & Custom Functionality
Develop and troubleshoot forms, scripts, and other web-based features.
Support website integrations with CRMs, marketing platforms, lead-generation systems, and internal business tools.
Identify and resolve technical issues affecting website functionality, data collection, and user experience.
API Integrations & Systems Connectivity
Build, configure, and maintain integrations between multiple software platforms using APIs, webhooks, and other integration methods.
Connect CRM systems, websites, dialers, marketing platforms, and internal tools to ensure accurate and reliable data flow.
Troubleshoot integration failures, data synchronization issues, authentication errors, and communication problems between systems.
Evaluate integration options and recommend technical approaches based on business requirements, functionality, and long-term maintainability.
GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM Development & Administration
Configure, customize, and maintain GoHighLevel CRM environments.
Build and optimize workflows, triggers, pipelines, forms, calendars, and other CRM functionality.
Integrate GoHighLevel with external applications, websites, lead sources, and communication platforms.
Troubleshoot CRM-related issues involving contact records, workflow execution, data mapping, and system connectivity.
Identify opportunities to improve CRM processes, reduce manual work, and increase operational efficiency.
Workflow Automation & Process Optimization
Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using Zapier.
Create multi-step automations that connect business applications and streamline repetitive tasks.
Configure triggers, actions, filters, conditional logic, and data mapping as needed.
Monitor existing automations, troubleshoot failures, and implement improvements to ensure reliable execution.
Identify manual processes that could be automated and recommend practical solutions to improve productivity and consistency.
Technical Troubleshooting & Solutions Development
Investigate and resolve technical issues involving websites, forms, APIs, CRMs, integrations, and automated workflows.
Diagnose the root cause of system failures rather than relying solely on temporary fixes.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Recommend and implement solutions that improve system reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
Document integrations, workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to support ongoing maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Experience building, configuring, or troubleshooting software integrations.
Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and data mapping.
Practical experience using GoHighLevel (GHL), including CRM configuration, workflows, or customization.
Experience building and maintaining automated workflows in Zapier.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple connected systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Ability to understand business processes and translate operational requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating CRM platforms with websites, lead-generation systems, dialers, marketing tools, or internal business applications.
Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, webhooks, and common data exchange formats.
Experience with additional automation platforms, CRM systems, or integration tools.
Familiarity with Git, version control, debugging tools, or software documentation practices.
Experience identifying opportunities to streamline business operations through automation and process improvement.
