INTEL Analyst – OPSEC Assessment AnalystThis position requires an active TS/SCI clearanceLocation- Redstone Arsenal, ALResponsible for evaluating and improving the operational security posture of programs, systems, and organizations to protect sensitive information and reduce the risk of compromise. Works in government, defense, or contractor environments to ensure that operational processes, communication systems, and information flows meet security standards. The role blends technical analysis with strategic risk management, supporting mission-critical programs.Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct OPSEC Assessments & Vulnerability Analyses: Identify critical information, indicators, threats, and operational risks; evaluate vulnerabilities in procedures, systems, and information flowsReview and Analyze OPSEC Plans: Review and provide recommendations for OPSEC plans, including Critical Information and Indicators Lists (CIILs) and countermeasuresRisk & Threat Analysis: Assess the potential impact of compromised information and recommend protective measuresOperational Review: Examine operational procedures, communication systems, and information handling to recommend mitigation strategiesCompliance Monitoring: Monitor and assess OPSEC and Information Operations (IO) compliance, identifying opportunities to strengthen security postureReporting & Briefings: Prepare detailed reports, assessments, and executive-level briefings for senior leaders and stakeholdersCollaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate OPSEC requirements into operational planning and processesRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong analytical, risk management, and communication skills.Experience in vulnerability management, threat modeling, disaster recovery planning, and contingency planningFamiliarity with DoD security policies, OPSEC frameworks, and information operations.Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment with high accountability.Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferredExperience: 5+ years in a similar role; in defense sectors, 5–10 years in DoD/IC or related environmentsMust pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee FederalCompany Information:Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is a part of Cherokee Federal – the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
