Salary Range: $240,000.00 To $280,000.00 Annually
About the Role
The New York office of Norris McLaughlin P.A. has an openingfor a partner-level IP litigation attorney with 15+ years ofexperience in commercial litigation and IP litigation matters, particularly trademark litigation.We are looking for someone who can take a lead role in trying a case andwork both independently and as part of our strong intellectual property team.
Responsibilities
Help lead a team of IP litigators in federal court matters, including taking the lead in depositions, trial preparation, and assisting in trying the case.
Prepare clearance opinions, prosecute trademark and copyright applications
Prepare coexistence and license agreements
Qualifications
Experience with opposition and cancellation proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office
Exceptional writing and communication skills
Must be bar admitted in the state of New York and federal courts in New York
Must have New York State court experience
First-chair experience is a plus
