Paralegal In The Patent And Trademark Prosecution And Intellectual Property Transactions PracticeHill Ward Henderson is an AV rated firm that offers sophisticated clients, challenging work, a friendly, collegial work environment and excellent compensation and benefits. The Firm is currently seeking qualified candidates for a paralegal in the patent and trademark prosecution and intellectual property transactions practice.Responsibilities:Patent and trademark prosecution support, including electronic filing of US and PCT applications and responses, and handling the general prosecution timeline for eachPreparing and filing IDS's, assignments, prior art, other support documentsDaily maintenance and operation of docketing system including the docketing of all prosecution and due dates for all patents and trademark annuities and maintenance filings; maintaining and generating docket reports for attorneysSupport intellectual property attorneys during merger and acquisition transactions and technology licensing negotiations.Communicate with clients, vendors, USPTO personnel, court personnel, experts, attorneys, and others as needed.Requirements:3 to 5 years of paralegal experience supporting intellectual property and litigation attorneys in a law firm environmentStrong computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment with a variety of attorneys and support staff
