Intensive Needs Case Manager
Full-time Intensive Needs Case Manager needed at McKelvie Intermediate School for grade 5 and 6, beginning August 2026. The Intensive Needs Case Manager at McKelvie School will have experience with students with Autism as well as other developmental disorders that include mild to moderate communication, social, sensory, behavioral and academic needs. The candidate will possess a solid understanding of NH special education laws and regulations to effectively attend to case management duties. Bachelor's Degree and approved program, NH certification preferred. Prior experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder required. Apply Online.

1. Bachelors Degree in Special Education 2. Certifiable in the State of New Hampshire as General Special Education Teacher 3. Expertise in autism/behavior challenges/developmental disabilities 4. Two years experience preferred

Job Goal
To design and teach an instructional program for students with significant disabilities.
Performance Responsibilities
1. Participates in Special Education Evaluation, IEP/Placement Team meetings. 2. Prepares, implements, and monitors appropriate Individual Education Plans (IEP's) for assigned students. 3. Collects and monitors appropriate data analysis for purposes of recording student progress to determine the effectiveness of each child's IEP. 4. Initiates and maintains regular contact with parents of students assigned to their classroom. 5. Supervises paraprofessionals. 6. Trains paraprofessionals (with input and time from various consultants as needed). 7. Possesses expertise with ABA: A. Behavior strategies B. Discrete trial teaching (DTT) C. Inclusion strategies D. Data collection E. Curriculum modifications 8. Oversees each student's integration schedule/plan. 9. Updates and/or modifies programs as necessary. 10. Coordinates all specialists, teachers, and consultants to ensure consistent programming. 11. Works with classroom teachers to integrate students into classroom activities when appropriate. 12. Knowledge of adaptive technology. 13. Plans and implements adaptive technology when appropriate. 14. Attends and participates in regularly scheduled meetings (i.e. parent conferences, referral review team meetings. 15. Performs any other additional duties as assigned.
