Job description
Inland Navigation Engineering Work
Planning, programming, scheduling, directing, coordinating, advising, and reviewing inland navigation engineering work products for projects across the Nation and internationally.
Performing project team leader responsibilities to assign work, provide performance feedback, ensuring availability of resources, and providing inland navigation engineering expertise.
Managing, overseeing, coordinating, and reviewing analyses, studies, and other technical products prepared by the INDC, A-E firms, or professional contractors.
Developing inland navigation plans, designs and construction techniques unique to the inland navigation mission.
Serving as technical lead for domestic and international inland navigation studies, design projects, plans and specification, and other technical products.
Serve as the primary liaison between INDC, and MSC/Districts and USACE Communities of Practice (CoPs).
Coordinating the resolution of complex and controversial inland navigation engineering problems with others at all echelons, both internally and externally.
