Interim Accountant / Senior Accountant – 3-Month Assignment
Muscle Shoals, AL
We are seeking an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant for a short-term, interim assignment in Muscle Shoals, AL. This is an approximately 3-month opportunity through December to provide immediate accounting support while the company works toward filling permanent positions. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting experience and be able to hit the ground running with minimal training. This position is well suited for an experienced accounting professional who is comfortable stepping into an existing operation and helping address a current workload and backlog.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on accounting support to the team
Assist with current accounting workload and backlog
Apply strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
Work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Help maintain accurate and timely financial records
Support the accounting team with day-to-day needs as assigned
Skills and Experience:
Previous professional accounting experience required
Senior-level accounting experience is a plus
Must be able to work independently with minimal training
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to step into the role quickly and contribute immediately
Pay will depend on experience
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
7:30 AM – 4:15 PM
30-minute lunch
Hybrid schedule
