Position Details
Location: Zachary, LA
Facility Type: Regional Medical Center
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Minimum 90-day contract, with potential extension
Position Type: Contract, with temp-to-perm candidates considered
Schedule: 40 hours per week; shifts vary between 7:00 AM-3:30 PM and 12:30 PM-9:00 PM
Weekend Coverage: Required, with the same shift options
On-Call: Rotating schedule, averaging 5-7 days per month

Requirements Active Louisiana Pharmacist license required
Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
Sterile compounding experience preferred
EPIC EMR experience preferred; training may be available
Experience with Pyxis systems and pharmacy inventory management preferred
Ability to prepare IV medications and support medication safety
Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and rotating on-call coverage
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
