nFarnsworth Group is seeking an Interior Associate II in the below posting location. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of interior design projects from concept through construction. You will collaborate with project teams to develop design solutions, prepare technical documentation, coordinate project deliverables, and communicate with clients, consultants, and vendors. This position provides the opportunity to build leadership skills while contributing to the successful execution of projects across a variety of market sectors.

nPosting Location: Springfield, IL

nWhat You'll Do:

nnnAssist in the design and delivery of interior aspects of projects, including programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

n

nnDevelop interior design solutions, finish selections, material palettes, furniture layouts, and presentation materials.

n

nnParticipate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting.

n

nnPrepare and coordinate construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.

n

nnProvide design support and documentation to communicate design ideas from concept through completion, including renderings, graphic presentations, and technical documentation.

n

nnCoordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors to support project goals and schedules.

n

nnParticipate in client meetings and presentations while helping to develop and maintain client relationships.

n

nnAssist with project administration, file management, quality reviews, and project documentation.

n

nnPerform construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site observations.

n

nnSupport and mentor Interior Associate I team members.

n

n nWhat You'll Need:

nnnBachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.

n

nn3–5 years of interior design experience.

n

nnExperience developing and maintaining client relationships.

n

nnWorking knowledge of programming, space planning, furniture specification, finish selections, and construction documentation.

n

nnAutoCAD and Revit experience required.

n

nnSketchUp experience desired.

n

nnStrong verbal, written, organizational, and presentation skills.

n

nnAbility to manage multiple project assignments and deadlines.

n

nnNCIDQ certification in progress or preferred.

nSalary Range: $57,000 - $77,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
