Job Title: Interior DesignerJob Description
nWe are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to provide a blend of project management, space planning, and design for commercial projects. The role involves assisting with the creation of renderings and construction document sets, understanding local codes, finish selections, BOMA calculations, permitting, and construction administration tasks. You will also interface with customers and provide design leadership.
nResponsibilities
nnnManage projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.
n
nnPerform space planning and design for commercial projects, including mission-critical, healthcare, and government integrator projects.
n
nnCreate detailed renderings and construction document sets using Revit and AutoCAD.
n
nnEnsure compliance with local codes and regulations, including BOMA calculations and permitting.
n
nnProvide construction administration support and collaborate with construction teams.
n
nnEngage with clients to understand their needs and provide design leadership.
n
n nEssential Skills
nnnProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for design and construction documentation.
n
nnStrong skills in space planning and rendering.
n
nnExperience with construction administration and document creation.
n
nnUnderstanding of local building codes and permitting processes.
n
n nAdditional Skills & Qualifications
nnnMinimum 4-year college degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
n
nnLEED Certification is a plus.
n
nnExperience in commercial and/or corporate interiors is required; exposure to mission-critical or healthcare projects is advantageous.

n nWork Environment
nOur office is located in downtown Baltimore, offering a beautiful water view in Fells Point. We support a hybrid work model, with most employees working remotely and coming into the office occasionally for meetings or to access our library. You will need to be in the office for one full day or two half days per week, depending on project requirements.

nThis is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD.
nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $45.67/hr.
nIndividual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
