Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join our team located in Phoenix, AZ.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm / 40hrs per weekJob Responsibilities:Shadow laboratory professionals and learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operationsAssist with non-testing laboratory tasks, such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparationParticipate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervisionSupport approved laboratory projectsFollow all safety and compliance standard operating proceduresMinimum Qualifications:Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor's degree programAdditional Job Standards:Interest in laboratory scienceInterest in diagnostics industryDemonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory proceduresEagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific conceptsShow initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervisionMaintain professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conductStrong communication skills; both written and verbalJoin Labcorp's 2027 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
