Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This internship requires working 15+ hours/week from October 2026 – May 2027. This position is open to Mankato office location. If pursuing internship credit through your university, it is your responsibility to consult with your advisor and review the internship's job description to ensure it meets the minimum eligibility requirements.Compeer Financial is seeking collaborative, innovative and dynamic professionals to be a part of our Top Workplace culture!The contributions you will make: This position will experience what it's like to be part of a corporate communications team supporting a financial services provider for agriculture and rural communities. Learning will come through a variety of tasks that further team member awareness and contribute to a strong internal culture.A typical day:Update editorial calendars and develop content for digital message boardsResearch and draft articles for corporate intranetAssist team members with executing communication plansDevelop PowerPoint slides for use in presentationsGather metrics and update reportsSummarize large group meetings from transcripts and recordingsAssist with photo and video shoots as neededAttend team meetings and participate in cross-functional workgroupsThe skills and experience we prefer you have:Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with a major in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or Marketing.Possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work, with limited guidance.Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.Experience in photo editing, video production and/or graphic design preferred.Accuracy and attention to detail.Good interpersonal skills; ability to initiate and maintain professional conversations.Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.Skills in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Proven ability to demonstrate solid judgment and flexibility and thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.Base Pay$19 - $20 USDCompeer Financial is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
