JOB DESCRIPTION

nBuild Your Future at DTCC

nAs an Intern in Internal Audit, you will help review business processes to identify risks, evaluate controls, and recommend opportunities for improvement. Your work may support business, operational, technology, and risk management objectives and give you practical exposure to auditing, problem solving, data analysis, and the financial services industry.

nAt DTCC, interns contribute to meaningful work while learning how the financial markets operate behind the scenes. You will be part of a structured summer experience that combines team-based project work, training, feedback, mentorship, and opportunities to connect with leaders and peers.

nAbout the Summer Internship Program

nThe Summer Internship Program is a 10-week experience designed to build a strong foundation for early-career talent. The program includes orientation, training, manager engagement, feedback milestones, networking, and development experiences that help students explore potential full-time career paths, including EDGE where applicable.

n nWhat you will do

nRole Responsibilities

nnAssist business and technology audit teams with documenting processes, risks, and controls through research, walkthroughs, and review of supporting documentation.

nSupport audit projects by gathering and organizing documentation, validating data, and analyzing information under the guidance of experienced auditors.

nAssist in the use of technology and analytics tools to enhance audit coverage, improve testing efficiency, and support continuous monitoring activities.

nCollaborate with interns and professionals across the department and organization on assigned projects and learning opportunities.

n nWhat will help you succeed

nRequired

nnCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS or Business & Technology Management

nExpected graduation date: Spring 2028

nMinimum GPA: 3.2

nAuthorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

n nPreferred

nnCoursework, projects, prior work, internship, student organization, volunteer, or leadership experience related to the role.

nInterest in financial services, technology, operations, risk, data, business, or the specific business area.

nHybrid work model: 3 days in office and 2 days remote, based on team schedule.

n nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
