Job description
We are seeking an Internal Auditor to work with a leading manufacturer in North Alabama. This role has a clear path to Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute financial, operational, compliance, and internal control audits, evaluating processes and controls for effectiveness, consistency, and adherence to established policies
Perform SOX-related control testing, including interviewing process owners, reviewing supporting documentation, assessing control design and execution, and documenting audit results
Support the organization’s annual risk assessment and audit planning process, helping identify areas of financial, operational, and compliance risk
Partner with business leaders, process owners, internal audit colleagues, and external auditors to address audit requests, communicate findings, and support remediation efforts
Prepare clear audit documentation and management-level reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations, while staying current on evolving audit standards, regulations, and internal control practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4+ years of accounting experience
External or Internal Audit experience preferred
Manufacturing experienced preferred
SOX experience strongly xzgxqkn preferred
