Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Physician
Locations: Brooklyn, NY & Manhattan, NY (2 Openings — One Per Location)
Pay Rate: $150–$170/hour
Employment Type: Contract (120-Day Term, Option to Renew or Convert to Permanent)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Opportunity
A healthcare organization is seeking Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians to fill 2 open positions — one in Brooklyn, NY and one in Manhattan, NY — on a 120-day contract assignment, with the option to renew or convert to a permanent position. Ideal candidates are available for a November 2026 start date and bring hands-on experience with the Epic EMR system.
Responsibilities
Provide direct outpatient primary care to adult patients
Conduct patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Accurately document patient encounters and treatment plans using Epic EMR
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Active New York State medical license required
Active New York State DEA registration required
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active NYS Medicaid participation required
Prior experience using xhmxlyz Epic EMR required
Schedule Details
Monday – Friday, 5 days/week
Shift options: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Assignment length: 120 days, with option to renew or convert to permanent
Ideal start date: November 2026
