Job description
Dalton is nestled at the base of the picturesque, impressive North Georgia Mountains. This four-season community offers outdoor enthusiasts many choices for year-round enjoyment. Beautiful natural resources are readily available to provide lake access, kayaking, hiking, and mountain and/or road biking. If you enjoy a more metropolitan feel, Chattanooga, TN, is a short 30-minute commute and Atlanta is only a 90-minute drive.
Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm and Friday 8 am - 12 pm schedule
Hospital-employed position with a collegial group practice
Academic affiliation with opportunities to participate in internal medicine and family medicine
Additional stipend available for academics and supervision of mid-level providers
Procedures include chronic and acute care, possible suturing, I and D, and x-ray reads
Ideal for physicians interested in growing a primary care panel
Teaching opportunities available; interest in education is welcomed
Board-certified or board-eligible candidates considered; DEA required
