About the Group
Community Health System is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Winchester, VA. The group provides high quality, accessible, affordable health care services and operates a FQHC facility established in 1976. The environment is accredited and certified by The Joint Commission.
Benefits
Base Salary: $270,000 - $300,000
Patient encounter bonuses: Typical $30,000 annually
Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000

About this Role
Internal Medicine Physician located in Winchester, VA, with easy access to Washington DC or Baltimore. Outpatient Primary Care & Family Medicine schedule: open to 4x10 hour shifts (8am‑6pm). Typical expected volume per day: 18 patients.
Responsibilities
Follow all departmental policies and procedures
Discuss and explain treatments and medication thoroughly with patients
Provide evaluations, treatment, and medication management in the outpatient setting
On call: 1:10 – phone only (low due to triage service line screening calls)
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Ability to hold a Virginia state medical license
H1B Visa status if necessary
Team
Team size: 3 MDs & 13 APPs. EMR System: Athena with Suki included for AI note‑taking.
