Job Overview
Community health organization in Winchester, VA seeks an Internal Medicine Physician to join a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, accessible, affordable care.
Position Details
Location: Winchester, VA with easy access to Washington, DC and Baltimore
Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts (8am–6pm); open to change
Patient volume: 16‑18 per day in an outpatient primary‑care setting
On-call: 1:10 phone‑only; minimal due to triage line
Team: 3 MDs & 13 advanced practice providers; collaborative environment
EMR: Athena with AI note-taking through Suki
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive evaluations, treatment, and medication management in the outpatient setting
Follow departmental policies and procedures, and discuss and explain treatments and medications thoroughly with patients
Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team to enhance continuity of care
Assist with triage and on-call duties as needed
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
Current Virginia state medical license or eligibility to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
Benefits
Base salary: $250,000–$270,000 plus additional bonuses; sign‑on bonus: $10,000; relocation assistance: $10,000.
