Monday - Friday schedule with hybrid flexibility; minimum 3 days on-site per week
Full-time, hospital-employed Physician Advisor role in an acute care setting
Lead utilization management, peer review, and clinical documentation improvement
Collaborate with case management and physicians to address barriers to discharge
Identify and manage observation-status patients for appropriate inpatient transitions
M.D. or D.O. required; MBA, MPH, or MHA preferred
Minimum 2 years of Physician Advisor experience in an acute care environment required
Knowledge of InterQual, Milliman, or similar utilization review guidelines preferred
