Job description
A healthcare network in New York City is seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician in Brooklyn to provide comprehensive adult primary care in a fast-paced clinic setting.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 5pm (with one day extending to 8pm and one day ending at 4:30pm)
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate therapies
Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results
Provide preventive care, screenings, patient education, and care coordination
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Current unrestricted New York State medical license
Active New York State DEA registration
Active Medicaid enrollment
BLS certification
Prior experience using EPIC
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Ability to complete charting and clinical documentation by the end of each workday
Desired Skills:
Primary Care experience
Experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Experience managing high patient volumes while maintaining quality care
Comfort working with other EMR systems
