Job Description\ N Location: Sanford/Orange City and/or Mount Dora/Tavares, FL (Floating between regional sites)
\ N Schedule: Flexible Options (3x12s, 4x10s, or 7-on / 7-off Day Shifts)
\ N Compensation: $230,000 – $250,000 / year + Bonus Structure

\ N Position Overview A premier medical group specializing in geriatric and adult complex care is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician (with some Hospitalist experience) for a confidential, high-impact role.
\ N This position offers a dynamic environment where the physician will float across various regional Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals and Skilled Nursing Facilities within the Sanford/Orange City and/or Mount Dora/Tavares market areas. You will work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team, managing complex acute and chronic conditions while focusing on disease prevention, functional recovery, and positive patient outcomes across multiple rehabilitation care locations.
\ N Key Responsibilities
\ N Multi-Site Clinical Coverage: Float between designated inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and skilled nursing facilities within the assigned local territory to provide consistent medical leadership.
\ N Admission Management: Conduct thorough evaluations and manage care plans for new inpatient admissions.
\ N Clinical Supervision: Oversee and collaborate with a dedicated Nurse Practitioner responsible for daily rounding.
\ N RehabilitationCare: Deliver comprehensive medical management tailored to the inpatient rehabilitation and sub-acute care population.
\ N Continuity of Care: Diagnose and manage complex conditions across cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, GI, and musculoskeletal systems to optimize long-term health and wellness.
\ N Qualifications
\ N Education & Credentials: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
\ N Licensure: Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License (or eligible).
\ N Board Certification: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Additionally, some Hospitalist experience is preferred.
\ N Clinical Skills: Demonstrated compassionate care, strong diagnostic acumen, and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes in a post-acute, rehab, or geriatric setting.
\ N Flexibility: Comfortable floating between regional rehabilitation and post-acute facilities.

\ N Flexible Work-Life Balance: Choose between day shift options: three 12-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or a traditional 7-on / 7-off rotation.
